Manage Existing Mailboxes

From this section you can perform the following tasks.
  • View all mailboxes currently set up under your domain
  • Delete mailboxes you no longer need
  • Change the password of a mailbox
  • Set up forwarding for a mailbox
  • Enable or disable mailbox autoresponders
You will receive a list of all mailboxes currently set up, as shown below.

To delete any of the mailboxes simply click the 'Delete' button next to the specified mailbox. A confirmation screen will appear. After you have selected your answer, you will be taken back to the mail control panel screen.

WARNING: Do not delete the master mailbox. This can be identified by the letter 'M' in the 'Flags' column of the mailbox list!
To change the mailbox password click on the 'View/Edit' button. You will then be taken to the following screen.

Simply fill in the new password (and confirm it) at the top of the screen and click 'Change Password'. You will be presented with a confirmation screen. Once you have confirmed, the password box will be cleared and the status in the top left will change to let you know the outcome.The password should now be changed.To setup forwarding simply fill in either one or two off-site mailboxes that you wish the mail to be forwarded to and then click 'Change Forwarding'. The forward address(es) will then remain there and the status in the top left will change to inform you of the results.To enable an autoresponder select the 'Enable Auto Responder' option and fill in the details. The details you will need are as follows.
  • From address
  • Subject of the auto responder email
  • Body of the email (the actual message you want to send to people automatically)
Fill all the information in, in the relevant boxes and click on 'Update Auto Responder'. Once again, the status in the top left should update to let you know the outcome.Note: As stated, you will need to setup forwarding to actually recieves emails that have an auto responder.Note: If you have an auto responder already set up and you then disable it, it will remove all the auto responder information, so if you want to keep it, it is advisable to make a note of it before disabling it.
